A true Austin original, Playland Skate Center has been entertaining families and skate enthusiasts since 1973.
It is important for us to provide our customers a FUN and SAFE roller skating environment. We work hard to maintain a clean and vibrant facility and strive to pick the best of the best when it comes to our diverse staff, so that our customers enjoy their visit while spending their hard earned dollars.
Playland is still one of the most affordable forms of entertainment in the Austin area and one of the most affordable places to host your birthday party or special event and we plan to keep it that way.
Before purchasing Playland in 2002, owners Pete & Anna both worked in the Austin community and raised their family here. As an Austin original we have seen how much Austin has changed over the past 43 years and therefore it is important for us to contribute to and support our local community.
Helping schools, churches and youth groups to raise money for their organization is one small way we give way to the community. We also offer discounts to First Responders, Military members and their families and Big Brother Big Sister mentors and mentees. We love giving back to our community which has shown us so much love over the past four decades.
