Everyone loves roller skating, and celebrities are no exception. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Lauren Conrad and Justin Bieber have been spotted roller skating before a time or two.

Grab your friends.

If your friends think roller skating is “lame,” and show them these celebs on wheels to see if they don’t change their minds. Or pop in a movie or two to show them that everyone roller skates, and it’s fun, too!

Whip It – This 2009 movie stars actresses Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore and is all about roller derby and is sure to leave you wanting to pick up a pair of skates.

Roll Bounce – This 2005 movie features a number of celebrities on roller skates. Rapper Bow Wow plays the lead as a guy growing up in the 1970’s who rules the local roller rink with his friends.  

Rollerball – This 2002 movie features celebrities like LL Cool J, Chris Klein and Rebecca Romijn playing roller skating pros that show off some real roller skating skills.

You may not be able to take multiple vacations a year and at Playland Skate Center, we understand, so let us be your mini get-away.
