Fall is officially here, even though it doesn’t feel like it yet here in Austin, TX, but you can enjoy all of the holidays that come with the season! And when the schools are closed, Playland Skate Center is open!
We celebrate October 12th as the official day that Christopher Columbus arrived in the Americas. We can thank him for finding our beautiful land, and for a day off from school! Join us on October 14th from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm for an afternoon full of roller skating with your friends.
Fall season is full of holidays dating back to our colonial roots. After Columbus Day, we’ll have Thanksgiving in November to give thanks for the blessing of the harvest. While most of your families gather their harvests from the grocery store, you can still appreciate the historical significance of this holiday – and enjoy your time off from school! We’ll be open during your break on Wednesday November 27th from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm and on Friday November 29th from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. But please note, we will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Don’t stay at home with nothing to do during your school breaks. Put Playland Skate Center on your schedule – bring your family and friends – to join us for an afternoon of play at “Austin’s Best Place to Skate 2013.”
